Welcome to my Art shop.

I have been painting since 2022, with the help of my Higher Self Athaliah since 2022.  I have no formal qualifications.

In 2022, as an empty nester I had time on my hands and decided to join an art class.  This lead me to discover a latent passion that has become a beautiful expression of my work with Athaliah.

The above two photos represent work I did in a Painting with your Higher Self workshop.  They show how we feel when we are disconnected and unaligned.

The second image is of how our energy looks like when we are centred, grounded and connected.

My Art

I love colour! I love the vividness, the depth colour brings and the contrasts.  And when I am creating, I am aware of a rhythm playing in my mind that is individual to each piece. I often, but not always, add simple geometric shapes in my work. I know when a piece is complete when the rhythm stops.  Occasionally it will restart when I look at piece which means something needs to be added or improved upon.

There are elements of “naive” style in my work.

I participated in my first formal exhibition in 2025 and was thrilled when the above picture sold before the exhibition was officially opened.

The third painting, titled “View From the Park” was started at my weekly sketch club in North London and completed at home.  It is A3 in size, and is oil & soft pastels on mountboard.

This fourth painting below was inspired by Wimbledon 2025 and speaks to the anticipation of what is to come: The bounce of the tennis ball, the grunts and groans as the ball is served,  the trick shots, the shots that make you gasp and the physical prowess of the players.
